this video shows you what genius the first Saw movie was. the series should have ended after the third one. the concept become tired after that, even though there are some interesting moments of the fourth movie. i heard the fifth one was terrible, just look at rotten tomatoes and metacritic. but yeah i really really liked saw 1 and its really impressive that such young guys came up with this. that takes a lot of creative endurance.

saw 4 is the goryest. (the beginning of the movie). Saw 3 has it's most gory moment at the end.
