4InFact not many indians know abt vedas,cos they r not taught in schools,only people who really interested study them.it doesnt mean other religions r wrong. every religion teaches people morals.but it depends on people how they implement them.some may take the extremist route and land up doing things like terrorism.. that doesnt mean the religion is all abt terrorism.every religion tells abt god. the only difference is the name given to the god. and the lifestyle of the people.

2Its known that this place was far more developed in the past but somewhere down the line it lost its way.so now its on its way for re-development.everybody knows abt few thousand years ago there were surgeries like cataract,caesarian,plastic repair etc were done by some rishis here,imagine without the modern technology or machines.that was the amount of knowledge the rishis had.this is just an example to say how advanced this place was then.people know YOGA as just practising some Postures

If u say in the recent past there was oppression of the So-Called lower class here.i would agree.if u think it was always like that.its not true.it doesnt matter if u respect the religion or not.Cos people who read abt it and know abt it,know what it is & they r the ones who practise it the way it should be.we r not interested in increasing the number of people who follow it, like the British & the Mughals did.by forcible conversions.people here hav always been tolerant and continue to be.

btw, sorry about disrespecting your religion, that was because i feel sorry for the poor people in your country. And it seems to me that hinduism is just another way of oppression, among with goverment and army. Marx's aphorism "religion is the opium of the masses" finds its meaning in the fullest sense in india.

A person choses what he will be by his own merit.at any given point of time there r differnt types of people. u cant have a society where 100% of the population r intelligent or 100% of them r not.A "Bell shaped Normal Gaussian Distribution curve" exists in any set of population u take. |
