This gets me vibes of the ol' iMac G4... <3

It also comes in black. Not all vendors carry the black version.

It works GREAT. I've had mine for months now.It does not wear out or give trouble of any sort. You want one, trust me. SEE my casually made video demo. I have NO sales connection with any vendor or maker.

ha ha, but really: simpler is better. You'd have to reach for a joystick and fiddle. It's just so easy to grasp and tilt and move the monitor. Three months of 15 hours a day use, and I use this Ergotron hard, moving it many times per day. It's never going to wear out or break down, not so far as I can imagine. It's just plain perfect.

they should make an electronically adjustable verion of this with a little mini joystick for adjustments

that scene at 1:44 he is resting the monitor screen down on the desk is not advisable. YOu should rest it upside down on the packaging polystyrene packaging or something padded or get somebody to hold it.

does it definitely work with 24" 16:9 monitors. SOme websites say it is for 22" monitors! I am decided on whether to go for this desk mount or a wall mount to save even more desk space but the disadvanteges of wall mount is when you reposition furniture you have to re drill. I will be using this for centre 24" monitor and 2 19" lcd side monitors. ITs a shame they don't do a triple mount for different sized monitors. THey should make one with electronic joystick adjustment for position

I have had this arm for a month now. It mounts a 22" Acer monitor at present. A few simple adjustments to tension points and one to the springloaded arm, and this thing rocks.the Ergotron has changed my life for the better,a lot better! It's so well made and the instructions are quite good.It lets me use a recliner (needed for my blown back) and pull the monitor from desk mode, over to in front of me in the laid-back chair. It angles every which-way you could want, easy as the demo shows.
