that solo was horrid... im a fan of page but my god that sucked. maybe he hated the yardbirds like clapton and just wanted to ruin the song...i like to think so.

Hey I'd like to hear the guitar solos in bands now on the radio, (they can't play). They can't play a solo. Page was ground breaking at the time, and he was just starting out; he got better at his solos as the years went on!

Does anyone know if this song was recorded in stereo?

hey seattlepilot69. I always loved Cipollina's playing. QS was always my favorite band (yeah, I'm old). What was the name of their disk with the eagle on the front? ... and, what kind of pilot u b? av or h2o?

Dude, he was goodbut He was lik Kurt CobainHe could sing good, but that wasn't his thingSo he could play all clean and perfect, but I don't think any of the solos he played, Like Heartbreaker, would sound near as raw and great as they did

You are absolutely right about that. I have to laugh now whenever I watch this video. Great song, terrible solo.

Clapton's ace, but i do agree that a lot of sixties guitarists were overshadowed.

solo sounds all the notes are flat and shouldn't be. |
