Not trying to say any such thing ... nor did or will I say anything against such a person. You seem to have just as much a misrepresentation of me as you do a faith which you so obviously lack real understanding of. I would most likely attribute that to a harsh bias against it ... I wouldn't judge all atheists under one realm just as I wouldn't do the same for persons of faith. An open mind can do wonders friend.

Please don't and tell me that the old testiment is anything but silly old, mysogenystic man who were afraid of women and those who worhiped other Gods. Even Jesus himself would have castigated its writings, as he barely stood for anything that the old testiment God stood for.Tell me something. What is wrong with an athiest who helps people, loves people, appreciates the world around him and gives time to charity and poor and sick people - WITHOUT BEING TOLD TO.

If you had even a tiny semblance of the doctrines or ideals that make up Christianity you would at least have some understanding of the two covenants. You can't grab two lines out of a book and claim to know what the intent was ... and I'm not claiming any label for myself just pointing out that you have no idea how far off base you when painting such inaccurate portrayals of Christian theology and/or doctrine. It's slander for a better term.

Firstly, I'm not in any 'group', Im just a person that loves, helps and appreciates the world without somebody telling me I'll burn in hell if I DON'T do those things.How can you misinterprate "And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones"Am I missing something? But incidentally, yes, I'm antagonistic towards views that condone capitol punishment for such things. I thought YOU were meant to be the forgiving one?

I think Sackur did a great job keeping Dawkins on his toes. He didn't just lob softballs at him like some interviewers have done, he challenged him very often and with great points. Great interview so far.

If your words are not an example of misrepresentation I don't know what is ... the antagonism, the double standard, ... it's impossible to have real discussion with such an attitude.(represented by Dawkins a lot of the time). Most of the time you (and your group) come accross as close minded as those you are trying to argue or oppose.

Francis Collins also believes in the precise word of the Bible, Noah, Adam, Eve and all. Pardon me for not quite respecting his point of view, since he technically endorses stoning to death those who work on Sundays.The fact that Robert Winston is still a practising Jew only goes to show the power of being brainwashed into believing that which has no evidence.

Religion is a cunning way of instilling fear based beliefs into individuals, to create a narrow view of the world and themselves. Most of these beliefs are not fact based, but are not questioned rationally, such as other topics, such as why you like a particular sport team, or a certain hobby. Just believe or else...??? It's like adults riding tricycles that they have long outgrown but refuse to acknowlege..

I know, he spends so much time on nothing points and nit-picking, thinking he's really challenging the overall points Dawkins makes. No clue at all
