The Democrats would be considered far right in more or less every European country. And without doing much research I believe that would be the case in most democratic countries in the world. Do you really think that the entire world (minus US and dictatorships) are communists?

haha... go actually read the communist manifesto, and then write whether or not Obama "clearly" believes in it. And if you're going to write "many democrats", why not name them? I'd like to remind you, that it's been a republican in office for the past 8 years that has failed to call for regulation of the mortgage and lending industries before the bubble blew so big, and that has now nationalized a large portion of those companies. He could have garnered support years ago.
