sure...if you enjoy monotonous monologues with insipid sexual innuendos, sight and fart gags mixed in with some keystone cops and 40ish women in bikinis.

Also BestManMe09 (to call you by your full name) - I'll grant you that none of them (as far as I know) could dance, but they could certainly sing and Eric Idle especially was musically very talented. But being able to dance and sing aren't qualifications for comedians. I don't understand what you're getting at when you accuse them of being 'juvenile'. All good comedy is silly in one way or another. Please come back to me with your full thesis. And now for something completely different.

There are as many different types of comedy as there are different senses of humour. I don't want to slag off Benny Hill but he never did it for me. All he ever did was chase girls around to a ridiculous tune (although I'm laughing inwardly as I recall it !) I know plenty of people who don't care much for Python. More fool them I say : they're missing out !

Zara, the Pythons couldn't sing or dance well and their humour did have high brow references but then again so did Gilligan's Island and that show was still for babies. This MPFC is ful of juvenile humour!!!!(I am on purpos mispelling words for you duimmies whoo think grown peopel acting like babies is great!!!!)

Benny Hill was advertised as funnier than Monty Python by a UHF station taht ran both (WLVI TV Channel 56 in Cambridge, Mass). I agree!

British humour is still alive and kicking but no-one ever did it better than Python and perhaps they will never be bettered (a depressing thought !) Their humour takes you by surprise and reaches your belly. I can't remember the exact story but I think some poor bloke actually died as a result of laughing at one of their sketches. There's some satire in Python but mainly they just concentrate on the absurd in life. It's just unashamed (and very clever) silliness and it works !
