she hasn't stopped singing. you may have heard that she divorced bobby brown in 2006 and has full custody of their daughter. and she is working on a comeback album.

I agree, and to be honest I cringed when I saw all off the accolades she was still receiving even after being out of the lime light for some time, you're right though she may never have surpassed this songs status but what hurts me is we would probably never know that now if she doesnt come back to us :(there remains a 50/50 she would have....

eventhough whitney has not been doing much lately (in the USA) her legacy lives on, this song was just voted 3rd place in the poles of the 100 greatest love songs of all time, and she was voted in Rolling Stones definitive list @ num 34 in their 100 greatest singers of all time, can we say LEGEND?? it doesn't matter if she sings another note she will go down in history as one of the greatest voices to ever walk this earth, i'm so proud of her!!
