While the song is involving God, the subject matter is more so having to do with standing up for what you believe in. Even if you are going to be killed, it is better to be true to who you are, say "yes, I do believe in this" than to say "no" and live. This is the point that the band is trying to make. A very powerful message.

nah its not a christian song. its about the columbine massacre and how cassie and rachel stood up for what they believed in which is that there is a good knowing that they were going to die. it just sounds like a christian song =]

I liked this song before knowing what it was about, and reading all your comments, finding out what its about shocked me, such a sad story and a good song to explain it in... It was Obvious that Cassie was Clear with her beliefs..

I can't stop listening to this song. I love it so much, and I always get chills when I listening to it. Lately, I've been really interested in the Columbine Shooting, and this song is about a girl [Cassie] who died in it.

I heard the same thing as enginepixie but I also heard that Dylan Klebold, one of the killers at Columbine, went to the table where Cassie and another girl, Emily, were sitting under. He hit the table top twice, bent down, said "Peek-a-boo." and shot Cassie. Emily said that she was never asked of her belief although others say she was. Then some say that a girl named Valeen was asked of her belief, said yes, and was NOT killed. So no one is 100% sure, there are many different sides.
