The Sleep solo is awesome as well but it doesn't move me like Floods does. To be honest there hasn't been a solo Dime has done that I didn't think was awesome.

All he ever really used was a blues and pentatonic scale.Him and Zakk used to joke about how people never practice them anymore.

I agre, "the sleep" is the best solo, in my opinion, followed closely by "floods" ;)

I love the way Dime solo's, they sound like nothing else. metal solo's usually dont have much feel, some of the solos sound like blues and jazzy. I like that.

By far Dime's most heart wrenching solos and I do love it but Domination will always be my #1. Probably will get flamed for this but I have never been a big fan of the song Floods just the solo.

Such an amazing solo, and the outro is just breathe-taking. It's like you can visualize the rain pouring down and taking hold. The passion is just pouring out of him.Dime: may he R.I.P but live on in our hearts forever. |
