Why don't the British come again? Why would we want/need to? We're not at war with Argentina and certainly have no arguments with Peru or Venezuela! Why do you people insist on dragging this up again?

The UK managed to drag a task force 6000 miles from home (something which only a handful of countries have the ability to do now) and defeat a larger army in its own back yard. The sad thing is that we here in the US, and the British were worried about the soviets and all argentina can focus on is a bunch of small barren islands.

Saludos!

Haha! "the professionalism of the british armed forces"Well, I'm really disapointed of British Army. They should have beaten us faster with all that technology. But they lasted 2 months.Your daddy (I mean USA would have done it faster).Anyway the world knows that England still has that kind of people "who is above everyone in the world" (such as USA). Greetings! :)

no - "it's exocet" is correct, not "is exocet". You really are one bitter litte wanker who can't accept that you were completely beaten because your conscripted army couldn't beat the professionalism of the british armed forces. Nice economy in Argentina by the way, or what's left of it.
braven117 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Oh yes very "United" tell that to the Irish and is EXOCET asshole!!!!!!!!

Sorry finesthour, it was bombs hitting the port-side that took Coventry, heavy list to port and eventual sinking. It was our media that 'let the cat out of the bag' about the Argie pilots dropping the bombs wrong, but once they got that right, they had a bit of an outing. But yes, you're right, we did have Super Etandards with Exocet onboard during the conflict. We on Coventry weren't too far away when Sheffield was lost. The Conflict will always stir all sorts of emotions on both sides.

Do you know what the U in UK stands for? It's United, that's what this country is and that is why we beat you hands down. Oh and ur talking to us about using foreign influence to win. If it wasn't for the FRENCH exorcet then you would never have sunk the Coventry in the first place.
