Wopila, I hope I getr to see the whole film. i saw that this film was in the Montreal First Peoples Festival. Congratulations! My Ate, my Dad, suffered the pain and indiginity of this system here in the US at the Holy Rosary Mission School. All these stories should be heard so that the truth is known.

God, you never tire of insisting that your world view is the only one. You reek of privilege and lack empathy. Read a few books. Educated yourself.

You are an ignorant person. You have no empathy and no ability to understand what happened. This is NOT your story. Do not co-opt it.

The insight, sensitivity, and respect for the survivors and the subject matter shown by Nadia is truly admirable. How Nadia managed to bring out the rawness of the atrocities these peope have endured and how the journey of healing has begun is nothing less than amazing. I believe this video should become part of the curriculum for anyone studying the humanities or Canadian history. This is a stunning technical, visual, and musically scored production.Thank you creator for this gift.

I think the welfare mentality of the Reserve is the worst thing that could happen to the first nations People, Welfare should be for the disabled, not able body people, it only destroys them. I was put in Children's aid & Foster Home's for two years against my will. I think the children that were put in those School's who got educated and were able to better them selves' are far better off than the one's who weren't!

I could complain about the past, I didn't like how I was abused, dwelling on it will only prevent me from succeeding, Those tough times made me strong, that is what they do! Forgive Forget & move on! The production & sound, music how this movie is put together is Excellent, the visual's with Bear & cubs I love It. |
