The shofar I use in this video isn't a ramshorn. It's a yemenite shofar made from a kudu horn. I think my shofar is about 46", but size isn't so important. If you buy a shofar from a ramshorn, don't buy the smallest - mostly they have a very small mouthpiece.

So far( no pun intended), I would like like to get a Ram's Horn Shofar. My budget is really low,so what size do you recommend me getting? May I also ask what size your currently using in this video? Of course the mouthpiece is important, but trust me: 70% of the sound depends on who's blowing it :-)I might make some new vids with some extra guidelines. Greetz

hey xenotion1 sorry to tell you this but the amish still use buggies.if you can't respect the jewish culture maybe you should keep your opions to your self.And just to think iam not even jewish.Actually iam of the pagan religion but still respect the jewish people if any one comes close to the bible it would be the people that made the religion.any ways thanks for the lesson on blowing the shofar mine is on the way from isreal.
