Ruffin's legendary voice was there up till he passed away. In spite of the drugs/booze, etc. What a great voice! Sorely MISSED! David Ruffin and Levi Stubbs were the greatest male voices Motown had.

For the most part he has not...He's stayed off drugs, Tried to do whats best for the group etc... and continued performing for 47 years.
