I know for a fact that California Jam '74 was recorded on 24 track tape by the Wally Heider mobile unit for the purpose of releasing a live album, which they did not do. It's quality would far exceed the FM radio recording Scott has. He is nothing but a troll who causes problems at websites of bands who performed at the California Jam, as well as channels which contain Cal-jam clips. This is why you see the many thumbs downs regarding his comments.

is he chewing gum while singing? Now, thats talent.

a beautiful song. very nice version. as far as the gum chewing, i can say from my own experience as a singer/guitarist,when i used to smoke pot before a performance, which i no longer do, chewing gum would keep the saliva going and help with the dry mouth. i certainly can't say that's why lake or lennon were chewing gum.

Had a look at your video, and it's pretty good snare work, but why do you think ELP fans would be interested in someone banging along to an ELP song in the background? If you have some new footage of ELP that's another matter.

Please approve my video for ELP fans!

Hi guys. I'm glad to see such a variety of California Jam vids on Youtube besides that nasty Issiquah guy who claims an exclusive on them. I did the broadcast sound for California Jam. Trust me there isn't a video on earth that can match them, they're a rock-n-roll eliminator for sure. I'm glad to make your acquaintance and am trying to hit as many California Jam videos as possible to clean up, clear up and clarify a lot of the misinformation from the Issiquah guy who I can't stand.

Why all the concern about gum chewing? Watch John Lennon sing Nowhere Man without gum and then see him do Instant Karma at MSG chewing gum. It helped him keep his teeth aligned1

This version of Still..You Turn me on should have been on the triple live album "Welcome Back My Friends" instead of the one recorded in Wheeling' W. Va. Check out Wolfgangs Vault to hear a far superior full concert than the triole live album. |
