SHEESH! watch it!!!!!! i love seiya and mamo! And if you havent done so you should read the manga! i always felt like mamo was more affectionate in the manga than in the anime. They are so kawaii!

you know the funny thing about this argument is that ive never seen the sailor stars season ive only peiced together the plot from other people and the amv's with subs on them lol pretty funny huh?

why is it creepy. she loves her just like michiru and haruka and just like mamo and usagi. In the anime usagi even says "I love mamo-chan, but i love other people too!" speaking of her love for seiya when she was talking to michiru and haruka because they didnt want her to see him

No im not trying to argue. I only said i read that in a magazine i never said that was the official reason they did it. So lets just walk away. i was only trying to make sure people knew the correct info. The three lights were only male on earth to find their princess they ARE females on their home planet. Period end of story.

Naoko herself also said that the fact the lights were portrayed as males in human form was a departure from what she wrote. The anime designers explained how they did it and that the human forms had no bearing on the fact that the Lights as scouts were FEMALE.

Your argument about people having problems, would have had weight were we talking about a series translated to the US market, however since the stars were never released there, it holds no weight.Naoko-san herself was surprised at the gender-switch made in the anime, and it does not reflect the story in the magna. The anime writers had some of their own concepts in the mix, as you can see.We are discussing two different things that while distantly related arent really so lets stop now.

well in a magazine it said they made them switch genders because people had a problem with seeing usagi as a lesbian and i was saying that in both the manga AND THE ANIME ALL sailot senshi are FEMALE there are no male senshi. so it has nothin to do with their "attributes assigned to their planets" it is just that they disguised them self in the male gender to more easily find their princess. in the manga it was not physical but in the anime they used magic to physically disguise as males. |
