new metallica sucks ass! Jason was great and underrated and treated like complete shit by lars and james because they couldn't face that fact that they basically killed cliff. fuckers.I'm sure it must have been hard to fill cliff's shoes and always be in his shadow. i'm sure he has enough cash to do whatever he wants after being in metallica.

Your new album? A big step in the right direction. Keep that up and you might catch Megadeth. Even though what you did to Dave was fucked up in itself as well, but then again we would have never had both Metallica and Megadeth.

Ironic that metallica's passion was greatly derived from a hatred of glam metal, then 15-20 years later they've all used expensive hair dye and/or makeup/eyelinerthey still rock though

I personally think everyone in the band had plenty of time to do what they wanted from 1997-2001(ish)After Reload, yes, they did tour but after that the only thing they did was release a cover album, do a show with a symphony, and make a song for the Mission Impossible soundtrack, that was it.I really think they should've focused more on recording albums rather than what they were doing.Basically what I am saying is, is that it's very hard to believe they didn't have time to relax.
