hi, i couldnt agree with you more. my only real source about any news about elvis whilst he was alive, was buying Elvis Monthly, the wealth of info on the net is amazing. I have been a fan since 1968 and have learnt more in recent years than i ever knew back then. I just love it, so i thank everyone who takes the time to put elvis on the web, (good or bad), cos it shows "elvis is alive", and just the mere mention of his first name is enough to know who the person is talking about

"Many people sing blues songs but only a few know how to sing THE BLUES and Elvis was one of those".....Elvis didn't die only his body did.

Nouvorich..your right I saw a programme about soul singer Barry White and when he was young he went to prison and he said that while he lay in his cell he heard Elvis singing "I'ts Now or Never" he said it changed his life there and then.John Lennon said "Before Elvis there was nothing"and he also said"If it wasn't for Elvis you wouldn't have had the Beatles"James Brown said "He taught the white man how to get down" and B.B. King sais...continued

Thanks for this rare interview,Heartbreak Hotel was based on a true story after Mae Axton read of a man who killed himself at a Hotel because his girlfriend left him, hence the title and the lyrics"Well since my baby left me"and "I feel so lonley I could die"Going right of the subject 100 photos of Elvis at Madison Square Gardens in '72 have just been discovered and will be shown at an exhibition at Graceland some may be backstage.
