Hey,I just got a ms-20 and I have no clue what I am doing yet. I am unsure if the button and modulator wheel on the end even works. Do I have to plug in patches to activate this? Anything information would be a great help!

do you mean just the cables which go into the patch bay? Those are just standard 1/4" phono plugs. You can get short patch cords at most music stores.
