Everyone in the band were at the top of their game on Relayer. Howe's individuality as a guitar-player was at it's peak. Stunning live performance.

Not by me. I love Relayer!

I don't know much about Relayer, and this is my first time hearing Gates Of Delirium, but I'm surprised to hear that. This song is amazing. I wondered the same thing about Tales From Topographic Oceans (my fav Yes album). How could such a masterpiece be so ill-received. I guess most people just don't know what great music is.

White is a killer drummer. If I am not mistaken, he joined after Bruford left (after Close to the Edge was recorded). Bruford was amazing, but White really filled the gap there. His drumming on Tales From Topographic Oceans is simply impeccable.

Had to see a Yes vid at the announcement of Benoit doing the 40th Anniversary Tour. Absolutely brilliant! Get well Jon.

totally agree... Great to see YES do this masterpiece... But the mix does not do it justice...

& the lyrics are unusually "acsessible" for an Anderson composition, compare to some early Yes lyrics. |
