I'm not sure why you think the harpist is the only "young" person there! The harpist Catrin Finch is 28 years old. The accompanying orchestra is the Orchestra of the Welsh National Opera which contains players of all ages but will need to have considerable skill and experience to play in it. The additional instrumentalists brought in for the performance (of which this was just part) were also of a wide range of ages.

This music was used for a great commercial of De Beers (diamond) in France. British composers are really great.Another great video : Craig Armstrong "Finding Beauty" (v=C2d3_qbhKBw) and its french commercial: "L'Orientale, Eau Jeune - Mini Anden" (v=yGgtZ63zITM)Older, Thomas Tallis, english composer (1505-1585) "Spem in Alium" and the french commercial "L'air du Temps by Nina Ricci" (v=PYVWsYT4Em4) :))

It was all to do with the concert. It was an all-Wales evening. Catrin finch is our top harpist (and had been Official Harpist to the Price of Wales). Before this piece she had been playing a number of Karl Jenkins pieces on traditional harp so this was a bit of a "get up and go" piece. It worked brilliantly in the live performance.
