Alas; the talent of Leo Sayer and Gilbert O'Sullivan to name just two, don't get the 'air play' in Britain that they deserve.The X Factor crew make sure that we get a very limited diet of music in my opinion.I guess the Ozzies are more appreciative of Quality and less influenced by 'Cool', Whatever that may mean!

Such a bouncy tune for such sad subject matter! Gives it an edge. For some reason, he reminds me of the guy who plays EJ on "Days of Our Lives."

I feel that this song teaches us something, and that is how to carry PAIN, and deal with it. Why does this song, which deals with loss, appeal to so many people who are in some way hurting? I love this song, and realize that when I hear it, I start to think about people I have loved and lost- perhaps it is a healthy thing to mourn and unleash your feelings about someone you've lost and this song helps you do that. |
