I use to watch the Bruiser & Crusher all the time on Indiana all star wrestling I think thats what it was called I think it was on channel 4 I was a little kid then and they use to come to the Tyndall Armory In downtown Indianapolis they where the greatest.

Wow this is great stuff. In 1968 here in St. Louis, The Bruiser and promoter Sam Muchnick decided it was about time to make Bruiser a good guy, since he was by now a good guy in Chicago and other midwest cities, so they scripted a feud between Bruiser and the hated Black Jack Lanza (managed by Pretty Boy Bobby Heenan) and from then on Dick the Bruiser was the most beloved wrestler in St. Louis

Chuck is my father-in-law and this is too funny to watch on YouTube.... I'm sure he doesnt know this is around. My husband is going to be laughing his head off. FYI- Chuck is being inducted into the Indy Broadcasting Hall of Fame in October.

After watching this, I'm even more convinced that modern wrestling sucks. Bring back the good old days with real heels vs faces. More realistic-looking matches, not all the steroid rangers putting on R-rated gymnastics displays.

Love the "head and face" punishments Crusher and Bruiser administered to both Askew and Diamond. Fist shots to their Foreheads. Two handed control, lifting and working of both mens heads and necks. Wish there were heels like them out there today to work Jobbers like myself over.

Not a whole lot of guys in wrestling these days dayjobs are being an offensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers.
