Oh okay, if you were just talking about your own tribe then I dont disagree with you at all. I thought you were implying that west africa drew its witchcraft practices from egypt, which wouldnt be true. The new information about ancient Africa, particulary black africa as it is referred (non egpyt, east and north africa) is HISstory that is just now finally being told. There is more to Africa then Egpyt, and the egpyt people praise tends to be the greco-egpyt that history is so familiar with.

History is HISstory. Im west african and the tribe that I come from traces their roots to ancient egypt(and the 10 lost tribes of isreal)through oral tradition. I'm sure that there was a culture that pre-dated ancient egypt but that is a legend that our tribe has passed down for generations.

Wrong on some history. I agree that Ancient Egypt is very old. But archeological evidence gathered particulary over this last half decade indicates that early ancient egypts culture was composed of a conglamorate of cultures from tribes spanning central Africa. Early ancient egypt (kimet) drew its culture from an even older central africa. Witchcraft in Africa predates Kimet, and is found extensively throughout the African continent. West african witchcraft practices did not originate in egypt.

And how do you know that she's into some dark stuff?? You're a Christian and that works well for you. What works well for Erykah works well for her. I love you too and God, Yahweh, Guru Nanek, Confucious, Ma'at and all the spritual leaders have and will continue to bless both of us.

I don't dispute this and I understand that our ancestors practiced religions other than christianity before they were forced over to America. I grew up on Christianity, went to christian school and was in church everyday. I believe that there's more to a spiritul life than than fallacious beliefs. But how does that excuse you from judging someone else??

There are Christians from my country who used to be witches and they testify of their experiences. They no longer want to practice those spiritaul acts anymore. My beautiful sister, we are both two infividauls who appreciate talent and art. However, I pray you become knowldgeable of the real roots of certain spiritual practices. I love you and may God Bless You!

There are individuals who embrace Kemetism but if you see the dark side of wicthcraft or spirituality, you will not want to engage in certain practices or spiritual faiths...unless you are initiated initiated into those practices. If you ever have the chance to witness a large evangelical crusade in Africa, you will see individuals delivered from evil spirits which come under submission by the name of Jesus or Yeshua.

African spirituality is a very deep, dark subject that many individuals are very ignorant about. Through oral tradition my tribe traces our ancestry to the Ancient Egyptians...and the Ancient Jews but thats a differnt subject. So where do you think most of our West African witch craft practices originate from? Ancient Egypt of course.

To adress your comment. I have read on Rastafarianism, The religion of Hip Hop, Yoruba, Santeria, Voodoo, Kemetism, The Nation of Islam, Nuwabinism and from what I have seen most of them try to trace their spiritual roots to Africa. However, being and African and a Christian myself I have heard stories of people living under water, changing into snakes and birds, and enganging in traumatic rituals that hurt other individuals.
