Before making a comment I suggest you educate yourself on the whole situation that happened in Iran and what happened to the Royal family. If it wasn't for the President of the United States at the time things wouldn't be the way they are!

The true reason Lelia Pahlavi died because she finally realized what a worthless royal scum she actually was just like the rest of the Shah and their ruthless regime. Also the current Islamic Republic ain't no better either.Only if Mohammed Mosaddeq was never overthrown by US Imperialists, Iran/Persia would still be a democracy.

she died from a deep dark sadness. imagine thousands of people in the streets burning your fathers picture, calling you mother a whore in slogans. thousands of people shouting death to your dad death to your mom. then leaving iran traveling like homeless gypsies from one place to another knowing that any minute someone might kidnap you.
