yea and they stand there for 30 secs of those 40 secs. Hockey is 10 times more tiring than football

first off the only time the defense wants to hit is when they hand the ball off...otherwise we looking to pic it or knock it down...and there is plenty of hitting in hockey, not every hit is big...but forechecking and finishing your hits is what the game is all about...do your research first!

i also play football hockey hurts more cuz you land on ice/boards and you are going faster then some1 just running but there is more hitting in football

i play D and first shift every game my goal is too hit some1 hard u gotta get your team pumped up and get the other team scared if i get big hit kids wil think twice b4 going into the corner with me or they will just not catch mid ice passes because they are scared of getting laid out it keeps your team in control when you are more physical

believe what you want. r u saying that a defenders job isnt to check, even though that is a way of getting a player off the puck?
