FOR WET WILLY - None of us in the fight game could stand Tyson. He made us all look bad. No, I never got knocked out by Tyson....but it sounds like you may have taken a few too many punches. For a moment there you actually sounded like you liked him. Probably not.

OK GUYS....Threr are fight fans and there are boxing fans. As a former amateur and pro fighter, this, my friends, is a fight.As for boxing after this era, Holifield has kept the flame going. Tyson was a good puncher, but he has disqualified himself from the human race for being such a hopeless, self-centered maggot idiot.

Excellent fight. I don't know where Howard Cosell (sp?) rates as an American sports commentator but his commentary on that fight was nothing less than crap. He couldn't of called that fight more wrong if he was blind. But thanks for posting because that is a fight for the ages.

You've been out of the game a little, Azmab. We had a productive post-Tyson heavyweight division in the '90s and the early part of this decade. Don't tell me you've never heard of Evander Holyfield, Riddick Bowe, and most impressive in terms of boxing and distance punching: Lennox Lewis. Lately, it's gone down the toilet though. As far as Foreman-Lyle, it was obviously a brawl, but I see some style and skill involved.

Thank you for posting this! For 32 years I have always said Foreman-Lyle was the best FIGHT I had ever seen (yes, I'm that old). No style points, no technical skill points. Just the best fight ever. Is there still a heavyweight division or did they abandon it after Larry Holmes retired? I think they did......for impersonating boxing! (Tyson not considered as I have a bias against Buster Douglas losers, facial tattoos, people who bite off ears and people who want to eat my children).
