I'm sorry if I wasn't specific...there where more than 300 GREEKS...about 7,000 or so. Only 300 Spartans. My bad. BUT they did lose. And Xerxes was a complete idiot for attacking the Greeks.I know the movie 300 was mostly fiction. The only relevant thing about the movie would maybe be its protrayel of Spartan life and code, and Leonidas choosing 300 men. Other than it was mostly just Hollywood entertainment.

dude you've been watching a historically inaccurate movie thats probably a sad historical impression he chose 300 spartans that had children already and the spartan ruler didn't allow a huge army just a little scout force so do you see the dilemma?

Wow...both of you suck. You...there was more than 300 spartans. And the other guy...Thermopylae was the poorest place to fight the Greeks. Xerxes was a complete dumbass for fighting on that terrain. The only reason the spartans lost was because they were betrayed.

They did lose...however they they bought time for the rest of greece to mobiilze. Dumbass. Just because they fought bravely, and killed more...the Spartans did lose.
