I just don't get this video at all. looks a bit amateurish. this song kicks ass though. based on the lyrics, they could have come up with something more interesting and meaningful...

Yeah that particular Colbert episode was awesome, they played Tom Sawyer and played it well, even after this long.

They said it was kinda lame for them to do shows like that since they were such a big band and they didn't like having to cut the song short and stuff, I don't have the link but I think I remember seeing it when they were interviewed by a guy after making the VT album. It was maybe on the History of Rush.

The longest Rush has gone without recording was between Test For Echo and Vapor Trails (1996-2002). This was due to the double tragedy suffered by Neil. Geddy and Alex waited for him to come to them and let them know he was ready. We should mall be thankful Neil still wanted to play.

old stuff new stuff when does it become new or old? i don't think they ever had a period where they stopped recording for a long time. same with bands like pearl jam.
