Good song but i have to agree that the video isnt something to masturbate over cinematically. To be fair I mean it is a music video and not the pinnacle form of human expression so to be fair one shouldnt judge it too harshly. But unfortunately because many fans of this band are fanatical to the point of irrationality, this comment and anything else slightly negative about the decemberists will very soon be thumbs down'ed into oblivion.

That wouldn't explain why she was acting weird at the Hotel...I think she was being honest... she appreciated him, but didn't love him. I think he took his revenge because despite the letter he still loved her.
