way they are. anarchy is about equality to all. if you dont like the emos act, just ignore them. (btw emo is not only a label, its also a movement). so just be yourself, listen to what you like, dont let accountants tell you what to listen to (in other words, dont watch mtv and the like), dont hate people if they never hurt you, and last but not least, bow down to no one. because we are all equal. sum 41 is still punk? (yes)did they sell out? (yes)dude i agree with everything else you said.labels were created as titles to subgenres in the music world. but the corporate deuchebags (aka mtv and the like) have used them for evil (and not the cool kind of evil). now people are being discriminated for it. even the so called "hardcore punks" lost their roots because of labels. they forgot that punk is an anarchist movement and started beating up emos because they are the (to be continued)

This is great, i wouldn't exactly say pop punk, but whats wrong with that either, bands like Sum 41 are still punk, just with a different sound. Doesn't mean they sold out.Secondly, if you actually like the music, then you don't give a damn what the "label" is.Labels are just words people give to things because they like to feel like they're controlling something.So if you aren't gonna listen to the music, then take your whining ass away, cause we don't want it here.

Bad Religion sold out the scene total corporate punk. Their only saving grace is signing Tom waits to their record label
