Seriously! Shift.

You can do it with the dashboard too.

Another cool trick to try to make things go slow on Tiger is to press Shift-Esc to get out of Front Row. It doesn't work that well in Leopard because it just fades in and out, not revolves.

It opens slowly when you hold Shift when clicking it. You can also do this trick when minimizing a window, etc.

Macs are actually not more expensive if you compare MacBook Pro and PC laptops with similar configuration.Plus, it can run all OSes.

what the heck. richardmnixon, do you really think that stacks actually opens that slowly? they slowed the video down, seriously! and dude, you've never been able to place folders on the desktop on macs. you have no idea wht you're talking about.
RichardMNixon (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
So let me get this straight, the new OS has folders (because thats what stacks are) that open more slowly and can only be placed along the bottom row of the screen? Is that an upgrade? |
