OK, I just did a random Metroid search on YouTube and found this clip. Is this really a remake created by the fans? It looks outstanding! I doubt Nintendo itself could have done a better job.

Awesome game and great to see a remake in the works. This one always was the spookier Metroid with the barren feel of the planet(SR388), you just kept venturing deeper into it and things became more intense and obscure. This one always had a very unique soundtrack with the unsettling experimental soundscapes, Unfortunately I would not play this remake of the game if the soundtrack persisted to be this poor(well actually I probably still would but I wouldn't like it!!)
