Composer369 (very imaginative screen name):There are over 300 million Americans. Your comment that 'Americans do not understand the essence' of trance music and that this music is (by inference) European by proxy is akin to saying Germans do not understand martial arts because only Asians make movies about it.If that seems confusing, you see my point.

I'm American and I don't really like any American bands. I like to listen to European or Japanese bands and singers. I like this song, it reminds me sort of a mix between....Enya and Darren Hayes....but I think I'm thinking of another singer.

This tune has European musical precedent from many sources: Pink Floyd, Industrial German Bands, Aphex Twin, FSOL even Gorrilaz. Trance music like this is exactly what it is=to be entranced and "rave" to. Americans do not understand the essence of this it is Alien to american culture.European music is melodic and harmonic as RAP is not, or is rarely. To even suggest crack use is typically confrontational and american and totally uncalled for. Play the guitar like that in Romanian music...wow !
