I love Daryl and all (oates), but lets all be honest. He is a good singer, and well done for what he sings. Occasionally, he is VERY good. But, in a case like this, while I buy his interest in the song, he can't do it. He was a fantastic song writer and performer, and a fine bass player. He, though, has no place singing this particular song in the forum where the judement is based upon performance. To, that end, I might add, Oates was screwed, and had a better voice.
