100 % agree! - Also, so many people don't realise what is going on all around them. Eg a very common example bullying in the work place. A lot of ppl will dismiss it because they can only relate to truly terrifying attrocities but not realise that what is happening in their micro existence is simply exactly the same, just on a smaller scale.

Also, it shows why so, so many attrocities and tragedies have occured in history and continue to occur because so many people comply and follow orders. - Even if they follow orders, (not truly believing in what they do), they are just as bad as the sadists out there.. because they aren't taking a stand for what they believe in. - Btw on a limited scale it was re-created in Big Brother in the UK, (2006). - Quite interesting but again I doubt any of the contestants in BB even knew about this expr

Yes, because it gives us credible evidence that all people are individual and equal and gives us scientific insight into the oppressive and manipulative nature of tyranny.

And who are you? A screen name. A simple identity you've created for yourself that you define only by word and action on the internet. You're nothing but what you make of yourself here. You try to act intelligent, you try to act as if you're better than the rest of us here, acting as if you have a better grasp of the English language than most. You don't. Once you realize this, it will be far easier, and slightly less painful to get over it.

How many ethical issues broken in this experiment... it's just sad. It's ok, it supported a theory, but hey, was it worth it?

haha spot on! "Oh humans, we are so evil, so cruel wha wha wha"Such a simplistic view of life. We have limited understanding of ourselves, mainly because we have grown up in a world that eliminates the fight for survival (like myself). You've never had to worry about starvation, or evading predators - but this stuff must still exist within our own minds, because one day we may need to go back to these ways of thinkingGetting a job is not the same as hunting deer. Think about it... |
