Wow! Did you ever read my comment wrong. I love the Nicholas brothers. I am sure that if you know how much they went through and still did not get the recognition that they should have gotten. What I was saying is that most of us will never be able to move with that much energy and precision unless we are on METH.Performers like the Nicholas brothers, Dandridge, Portier etc. paved the way for the rest of us. I'd be wrong to not understand the beauty and hard work that they exerted. Ur wrong.

Ekocentric, shame on you for making such an irresponsible insinuation. I personally knew Fayard Nicholas (RIP), and can attest that man never abused drugs and his mind and memory were crystal clear even in his last days (in poverty). As a dance performer and competitor, I've seen this kind of energy a lot and it is fueled by the joy of dancing, not drugs.

This song will always be the "Golden Valley Fruit Snack" song to Australians of my age.

ummm not so Cafferan16Louis Armstrong was arrested for possession of marajuana about 30 times...and Charlie Parker "Bird" was a full on heroin addict...drugs were everywhere in the golden ageLOLi didnt even want to talk drugs...it was ekocentric who brought it uphahaha

dont think so, its called hard work and practice. The only drugs that were really abused in the film industry during the golden age were uppers and downers (sleeping/caffeine pills) and the occasional dab of speed.
