It's blue for Jedi Guardian and green for Jedi Consular.It is supposed that blue lightsaber color is used for a more lightsaber combat Jedi, and the green color comes from a Force centered Jedi, but in any case the colors are part of the Jedi.

the ending kinda made no sense though...Ryan seared Dorkman's shoulder, which should have cauased it to be cooked and dislocate..so why could he still move it and kill Ryan?
